Derek Frazier- Oline Coach for Cincinnati Bengals

Dear Coaches:

I have had the pleasure of being able to work with Tazio on Oline techniques and more specifically, pass protection development. My relationship with Tazio’s father through decades of both collegiate and professional coaching has given me the opportunity to help polish his skills further. I have concentrated on pass protection, and he has developed at the same rate as my collegiate players and some of my early professionals.  Because of the system he plays in at his high school  (Wing Tee), he is not able to ultimately showcase his pass protection skill. However, he is an extremely physical player with an extreme football IQ; his film and academic standing support this.  I have no reservations about forwarding my recommendation as a collegiate Offensive Lineman and, more importantly, as an exceptional student and community member.

Sincerely

Derek Frazier

Shane Carwin- UFC Heavyweight Champion

Dear Coaches,

My name is Shane Carwin. I was the former UFC Heavy Weight Champion of the World, and I was also a National Champion and NCAA wrestling Champion, along with being an All-American Linebacker and the only Division II player to play in the coveted Senior Bowl.  I do not divulge this to brag but only to give context to my credibility.   I have been able to work with Tazio on his long-term athletic development and have never been more impressed with an athlete of his age and the work ethic, commitment, and attention to detail of any athlete I have worked with.  His physical toughness on film is no surprise to me, as he is as tough as anyone in the room I have ever trained with.   Also, what is no surprise to me is his academic ability.  Among other degrees, I have earned an Engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines. I understand the rigors of high academic institutions and the added commitment of athletes at these institutions.  Tazio's academic ability and unmatched work ethic will make him successful in any academic and athletic setting.  There is no arena too big for Tazio whether it is academically or athletically.

Thank You

Teacher Recomendations

I had the privilege of teaching Tazio Rosso during the 2024 Spring semester in my Advanced Placement Language and Composition class. Tazio exhibited intellectual curiosity and social maturity beyond that of his peers; he is an outstanding young man I am honored to highly recommend for admission to your institution!

Taz was a late addition to my class due to a scheduling mishap. I’m the lucky one. Taz proved to be engaged and insightful, proud to learn and eager to receive feedback and improve. He was a breath of fresh air, and this enthusiasm for learning and growing seems rare to find these days, making Taz even more exceptional. Whether in his writing or in our discussions, Taz’s insights in our discussions often went deeper than his peers’ in their complexity and wisdom. Taz went above and beyond in his reading and writing, and he even did the multi-step projects I made available for extra credit for students wanting to learn and grow – proudly showing off his library card in his selfie I required for the project. Taz’s pursuit of excellence gives me hope for the future of our world and this upcoming generation. He works hard, and he wants to improve his skills at each level of the journey. Taz is a Superintendent’s Honor Roll student and has earned this distinction for each year of his high school career, and he is a recipient of the Georgia Certificate of Merit. The academic accomplishments mirror his athletic and community pursuits. Taz honors our school by representing us well in football as a varsity starter and as a tremendous contributor and teammate to our state-champion wrestling team. In addition, Taz uses his business acumen to run his own photography business (Taz-Took-It), serving families in the community with his expertise in both artistic snapshots and athletics. Tazio embraces all that life has to offer, and he sets a fantastic example for all of his peers as an outstanding student, adept in social skills, innovative in his entrepreneurial pursuits, and mature in his old-soul wisdom. All of these characteristics make him an outstanding student in the classroom and as a leader in his community -- a young person I’m especially proud to know and recommend; he is the best of the best here in Camden, and I know he will be a phenomenal addition to your school’s student body and campus community!

I have had the distinct pleasure of having Tazio Rosso at Camden County High School in Kingsland, Georgia. He excelled in my AP Precalculus class last year and is currently enrolled in AP Calculus. Last year was the first year for the AP Precalculus exam and Tazio outdid himself with the highest score of a 5. Tazio is a student that stands out amongst the rest because of his academic excellence, leadership, and athleticism. When you first see Tazio, you notice his big size and his genuine smile. Once you start to engage with him, you realize, that he is one of the smartest students you have ever met. He has intellectual curiosity and asks questions that show his maturity. He knows how to think and be able to solve challenging problems that arise by using the skills he has so effortlessly learned. In AP Precalculus, some students might complain when things got difficult, where Tazio was always willing to accept the challenge. This immediately tells me that he will succeed in anything he chooses to do in his future. He has done well in all his academic endeavors even with his demanding football schedule. He has impressively been a varsity starter for the last three years. This has clearly made him a leader on the team, but I noticed his leadership qualities in my class as well. When he worked in a group, he would help lead the conversation and pace. Moreover, he also has a great personality and brings positivity to the people around him. I can confidently say that Tazio would be an asset wherever his future takes him. Tazio Rosso is one of the most well-rounded students I have had the pleasure of teaching. He is inquisitive, personable, and focused on his goals.
